We look forward to welcoming you to the Ysgol Dyffryn Ogwen family and community in the near future. We are an inclusive and welcoming school where every individual pupil is respected and valued; our aim is to challenge all individuals to be ambitious and enterprising learners.

We are extremely proud to be serving the Dyffryn Ogwen community developing bilingual citizens who are proud of their local and national heritage. Ysgol Dyffryn Ogwen is also a close-knit community in itself, with staff and pupils knowing each other well being key to pupils’ personal development.

We foster high standards in terms of behaviour, school uniform, courtesy and manners and offer a supportive and caring environment where everyone will respect other people’s needs
and rights, as members of a diverse society. Learners are encouraged to make measured, wise decisions about their lifestyle.

We have teams of support staff who work closely with pupils in specific years, and have regular contact with families on the journey. Positive partnerships between pupils, families and school are key to individual pupils’ success.

Each and every pupil counts at Dyffryn Ogwen. The holistic development of each individual is our focus.
